Up early to provision then we headed south down the coast of Guadeloupe.
We were going to stop only after an hour or so, but decided to keep going, not liking the look of the anchorage we'd chosen.
The girls slept soundly, as we motor sailed with light winds down to Basse Terre for the night. A quick frolic around in the dinghy before the sunset was enough for one day. The girls had a treat of ice cream from the marina, (perhaps they deserved it after sleeping in their berth for over 3 hours!) while I prepared a scrumptious curry using fresh vegetables I'd picked up that morning. Delicious.
