It was a particularly hot day yesterday, so we spent most of the afternoon playing with water, buckets and bath toys (which aren't used since it's showers only on-board) on the transom of the boat, while Joel worked on mounting the BBQ and the Lifesling (to aid if someone falls overboard). Joel worked on the netting more last night, and now 3/4 of the boat is done, phew. I think he'll be glad when that job is finally completed as it's taking much longer than anticipated. I think that is the general issue with most things at the moment.
I will try to put up some more pictures today after I post this - the internet now seems much faster and more cooperative with uploading pictures!
We have now been living on the boat for a week - that time has flown by! It still feels a little like camping as we've yet to get the gas hooked up, and so I'm not cooking on-board, but watch this space as I believe that might be happening today. That will mean more trips to the supermarket to buy food to cook, we might actually get to have some vegetables at some point soon.
Thank you again to everyone who has left a comment or sent us a message, we are getting them and love receiving them, it is tricky to get back to everyone each day and will try to message you at some point along the way.
