Joel worked tirelessly all day above deck, and I worked all day down below, keeping little girls out of the way, and putting away things as they appeared in the companionway.
Our lovely new pillows arrived - yay, no more cheap and cheerful sacks of something that barely lifted a head above the mattress. The Crate and Barrel boxes gave me particular joy as each plate and glass was unpacked, to be placed somewhere in the 5 galley cupboards that they could be allocated! The girls were entertained by the endless amount of bubblewrap, new toys and rain-boots that appeared. Overall a successful day, but now the hard work appears. we have all the stuff, we have to make it work before we head off, or at least get the essential things up and running....mine first request, a fan in the girls berth before their nap today and some towel rails mounted before showers tonight. Fingers crossed. My job today, visit the Pueblo Market down the road and see if I can recognise anything to buy. We're in the USVI so it shouldn't be too bad!
